Well, I have never had a blog and don't know one thing about how to set it up. I tried to load a picture for the header and it just seems to have disappeared. I will have to study it out. I haven't found any rules as to image sizes, etc., yet.
Well, I wanted to offer a freebie for my new blog. Let's see if I can do it!

Congrats on starting your blog! As far as uploading links and pictures, use the tabs at the top of your blogger menu (while you are typing it!). Simply click the button and a new window will pop up giving you the option of pasting the link in and then it will do the html for you. For the pictures, you will have a choice as to how big you want it and where you want it positioned (left, right, centered...) Feel free to email me if this doesnt make sense...
