Hope everyone had a GREAT Labor Day holiday. In celebration, after the fact, I'm giving away my newest kit that has been coming along for a while: Cotton Candy.

New 'Memories' QP

New QP from the 'Memories' Kit

Hi All,

Here's a new 'Memories' QP. This is the first time I have ever tired making a dragonfly or an 'old' envelope!

Anyway, this QP complements the other 'Memories' QP offered here earlier. Maybe appropriate for a 2-page layout. The 'parchment' paper can be used for journaling. Because of my mixing of 'old' (the album, parchment, old envelope) and the brighter frame and other elements, I thought these would be perfect pages to do a 'current' (family) picture in the frame (this is now) and a 'years ago' family picture in the old album (that was then)!

Hope you like it. Leave some comments if you download. I had to go to a new download provider because the file was bigger than 4shared could handle. I don't think there is a place for comments there, so you're gonna need to leave them here!

Lots of Love!!

Thanks so much for all the WONDERFUL comments on my work!! and from all over the world! I am overwhelmed with how wonderfully detailed and expressive some of you have been about what you like (or love in most cases) about my designing. It is such a beautiful thing to have people appreciate all the hard work and thought that goes in to designing a kit. I was reading someone's blog one day and she commented that it sometimes takes her 'a whole day' to design a kit. Well, believe me, I wish I were good enough to design a kit in one day. It takes me days and sometimes weeks to get a kit together. It is absolutely amazing that you have all appreciated the kit and the QP's so much.

And the other thing is that I had no idea how truly great it would feel to think about my designs being a part of so many people's albums all over the world. What a wonderful (I use the word again!!) wonderful thing to think about!! I just realized it from some of the comments from you very, very nice people.

And thanks for commenting specifically on whether you thought the colors of the kit are too bright. I'm certainly glad that I didn't even have one that said they thought they were. That's encouraging!!

I just wanted to especially thank a few of you that left such awesome comments: Pat from England, Monica, Sandie, Elizabeth, Colleen and Heather. Lots of love!! Thank you.

Memories QP

'Memories' QP

Here's a new QP from the kit that I am working on called 'Memories.' Thanks for all the great comments on my other QP's and my 'Over the Rainbow' kit. I love designing! Keep the great comments coming!!

I've been told that maybe these colors are a little too bright. What do you think? I hope you like them, really, because the kit is almost done using them as is. Too bright? Let me know.

Oh, I almost forgot that I need to credit HP Old Paper brushes that I used in this QP.

Over the Rainbow Freebie QP

'Over the Rainbow' QP Freebie

Wow! I couldn't get into my own blog. I was afraid I had figured out all these posting things and then I wasn't going to be able to post anymore. For some reason I had to re-sign for the blog....

Keep visiting my blog. As I said I am going to have a full kit available soon. In the meantime, here is a sample of how I used this QP. We recently visited Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia, Canada and these pictures are from PEI. I took the puzzle pieces and actually used them to cut out some additional pieces from the pictures I was displaying.

Thanks for the comments!! Most of the comments are appearing on the 4shared download site, but I have had some here and even one from a nice lady from FRANCE!!

First Post on my Blog

Well, I have never had a blog and don't know one thing about how to set it up. I tried to load a picture for the header and it just seems to have disappeared. I will have to study it out. I haven't found any rules as to image sizes, etc., yet.

Well, I wanted to offer a freebie for my new blog. Let's see if I can do it!
